Nestled conveniently between Merzouga and Marrakech, Dar Zara became my unexpected culinary highlight on a recent journey. Despite arriving late, the friendly host surprised us with a delectable tajine, arguably the best I've tasted-well worth the wait after a long day. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, an intimate space perfect for savoring traditional Moroccan flavors. Awakening to a stunning sunrise on the terrace, I relished a morning cup of traditional tea. The view was a serene backdrop that seemed to elevate the experience. Even though the amenities were minimal-no hot water or TV-I found solace in the peaceful atmosphere. This isn't just a stopover; it's a culinary experience waiting to unfold, ideal for food enthusiasts seeking an authentic taste of Morocco. With free WiFi and generous parking, it's a cozy haven for travelers.
